Spring is here!

Here are a few updates:


* The children were wonderful during today's severe weather.  Our school has a plan in place for any emergency that might arise, and teachers review these plans regularly.

*Our Easter Egg Hunt is this Friday, April 7th.  See our newsletters or refer to emails from our room moms for the details.  Thank you so much to all who have volunteered to send in snacks or help with set up and clean up.  We could not do this without you!

*Next week (April 10-13) we will be administering standardized tests.  The children are prepared so there is no need to study or practice at home.  Just be sure they continue any medications, rest well each night, and eat a good breakfast each morning.

*April 12th will NOT be a late start Wednesday due to testing.  Please have your child here by 8:15 every day so that we can begin on time.

*Room moms will contact a few parents to help provide a light snack during each day's break time.

*Good Friday (April 14th) -No School

Mrs. Clausen took us for a walk along our Nature Trail.  We found all kinds of seeds and discussed the many ways they travel, and even found a few homes for animals.  

Our outdoor classroom is the perfect place to learn about plants and animals.
