Grandparents' Day

GRANDPARENT’S DAY is Friday, March 27th. Every student 3K through 5thgrade will be participating in our “Patriotic” theme. 

COSTUMES: Students should wear red, white and/or navy blue PLAIN collared shirts (very small logos only – Uniform shirts are fine) and jeans. Shoes: Normal school wear. All 5th grade band/chorus will also wear this costume. ALL students will wear this attire for Thursday dress rehearsal AND Friday performances. 

DRESS REHEARSAL: Thursday, March 26th. Parents are welcome to attend dress rehearsal. Times to be announced.

GRANDPARENT’S DAY SHOWS:  Friday, March 27th: Reception at 8:30am in Clark Fine Arts lobby. Show begins at 9:00 for 3K-2nd graders. Reception at 10 and show begins at 10:30 for 3rd-5th graders. Questions? Email Niki Mixon at

Go Fish!

During our study of animals and habitats we visited the Go Fish Center in Perry. 2nd graders saw alligators, a variety of fish, and some students even touched a corn snake!  A beautiful day allowed for a picnic lunch outside.

Our elementary school was blessed to hear the Easter story from our 2nd graders.

Science lab-Which beak is best?

During this week's science lab our students used a variety of tools to represent a bird's beak as they searched for different kinds of food.
